One Person Buried Alive, Another Hurt as Stone Mine Caves in

JAIPUR: One person was buried alive while another one was injured when a portion of the stone mine they were working in caved in on them at Kalvar, a sub-urban town near here, police said today.

According to a complaint filed by the deceased's nephew, the owner of the mine Raju Choudhary knew that there was a lot of water seepage in the area he took no preventive action which led to a part of the mine cave in last Friday , they said.

While Gandori was buried alive, Narayan was injured and rushed to a hospital, police said. An FIR has been lodged against the stone mine owner and his cashier Gopilal yesterday, they said.
