NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 65 today, with a host of leaders across the political spectrum wishing him a healthy and long life.

Modi had also greeted Kejriwal on his birthday and the Chief Minister immediately responded with thanks and expressed his desire to meet him to discuss the situation in the national capital.
"Happy birthday @narendramodi ji. May God grant you a long life in the service of the nation. #HappyBdayPM," tweeted National Conference leader and former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah.
BJP president Amit Shah said on the micro blogging website he prays to God for his "long life and good health".
Modi's ministerial colleagues Arun Jaitley and Rajnath Singh also took to twitter to greet the Prime Minister.
"My best wishes to Hon'ble PM @narendramodi ji on his birthday today. May God bless him with good health & success in all his endeavours," Jaitley said.
Rajnath said in his twitter post,"Greetings to the Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi on his birthday today. May God bless him with good health and long life."
NDA ally and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said,"Happy Birthday @narendramodi ji. Hope you continue to steer our country to prosperity under your visionary leadership. Wish you good health."
