SUKMA: The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel on Saturday recovered four Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) from Chhattisgarh’s Sukma District.

The 219 battalion of the CRPF were on a routine patrol when they found the IEDs.

On Tuesday, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) patrol recovered two IEDs from Rajnandgaon area of Chhattisgarh.

The ITBP personnel were on an Area Domination Patrol near Jakke Post when they found two IEDs weighing 2 Kgs and 5 Kgs respectively. The security forces later diffused the IEDs on the spot.

The locations of the IEDs have given rise to a suspicion that they could have been planted to target the security forces.
