JAMMU: Authorities today dismissed as "false" reports that some Kashmiri students studying at two engineering colleges here were targeted by local students in protest against the incidents in NIT campus in Srinagar.
"Nobody was attacked in our college. It was just a few local students who yesterday unfurled the national flag and raised slogans like 'Bharat Mata ki Jai'. She said regular classes and sectional exams are being conducted and no exams have been cancelled or postponed. "The security of the college is tight enough to prevent the entry of any miscreant in the campus. The students are safe and secure in GCET campus," she said.
