MEERUT: Body of an unidentified girl with bullet injuries was found in Daurala area here, police said today.
"A 19-year-old girl was found dead with two bullet marks in her chest and one on forehead in a field near a highway here yesterday," SSP (Meerut) D K Dubey said.
According to police, no identity proof or blood spots have been recovered from the spot which suggests the body was thrown there after the alleged murder.
The body was sent for postmortem, they said, adding investigations are on to identify her.
