Ilegal Minigun Factory Busted in Bihar's Munger

Police raided Rampravesh\'s house in Pitalpur village, unearthed an illicit minigun factory nabbed a worker.

MUNGER: An illegal minigun factory was busted today and one person held in this connection from a village under Mufassil police station area in Bihar's Munger district, a police officer said.

Acting on a tip off, a police team raided one Rampravesh Singh's house in Pitalpur village and unearthed an illicit minigun factory and nabbed a worker Md. Gaffar after he tried to escape by jumping from the roof of the house to evade arrest, the Superintendent of Police (SP) Ashish Bharti said.

A large haul of weapons comprising ten pistols, eleven magazines, five ammunition, besides a machine and other equipments used for processing arms were seized from the said minigun factory, he said.

Gaffar had been jailed under the arms act in the past too, Bharti said.
