NEW DELHI: A medium-intensity earthquake today hit the north-eastern state of Assam.

According to the National Centre for Seismology, a unit of the Ministry of Earth Sciences, the quake measuring 3.2 on the Richter Scale hit Marigaon in Assam at 9.38 PM.

However, there were no immediate reports of loss to life and property.
