Nitish Announces Ex-gratia to Families of Road Accident Victims

PATNA: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday announced an ex-gratia of Rs. four lakh to each of the families of the victims of the road accident in Gaya and Rohtas earlier today.

Eleven persons, including six women and two minors, were killed and 13 others injured when a tractor trolley collided with a truck on the National Highway-2 in Rohtas district of Bihar.

Six persons were killed and three others injured when a jeep rammed into a truck on the Gaya-Rajgir NH 82 near Manaini village today.

While five persons died on the spot, another died at the Anugrah Narayan Medical College and Hospital (ANMCH), Gaya.
