Rahul Gandhi to Address Tea Garden Community in Assam Today

NEW DELHI: Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi will begin his two-day visit to Assam on Monday and will meet booth workers and the tea garden community in the first leg of the visit.

During his visit, the Congress vice-president will be addressing a public meeting and interact with the booth workers in Sonitpur district and women workers in Lakhimpur district.

He will also interact with leaders of the tea garden labourers community in Sivasagar besides the Youth Congress leaders.

Rahul will arrive in Jorhat today and he will leave to Gahpur in Sonitpur district and Bihpuria in Lakhimpur district later.
