ETAH: A woman was allegedly beaten up by a youth with a slipper when she opposed by him in Vijaypur village here, police said today.
The incident took place on Friday when Sandeep, teased the woman and when she resisted he thrashed her with a slippers. He escaped after threatening her of dire consequences if she disclosed the incident to anyone, they said.
A case has been registered yesterday on the victim's complaint, police said, adding no arrests have been made so far.
