BAREILLY: A 16-year-old girl was today allegedly shot dead by her elder brother for talking to their neighbour over phone in Bhamaura area, police said.
The incident occurred in Devchar Mandi locality when Rajesh (25) had a heated argument with his sister for talking to their neighbour and in a fit of rage, he killed her, they said.
Police said an FIR has been registered and efforts are on to apprehend the brother, who is absconding.
