NEW DELHI: Despite several countries including the US launching a crackdown on Hafiz Saeed’s terror empire operating through charity organisations, the founder of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) continues to receive huge sums of money through online donations.

According to a report prepared by security and intelligence agencies, the most wanted terrorist is using social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and more recently a website to garner support and donations from sympathisers worldwide.

“Under Saeed’s watch, LeT senior leader Hafiz Abdur Rauf is handling the fund generation through ‘devoted to humanity’. Although, the organisation claims to be working for the welfare of people, its ulterior motive is to finance Lashkar-e-Toiba’s terror activities against India,” sources said.
