App to provide security to senior citizens and women launched

GHAZIABAD: A mobile app for the safety of senior citizens, ladies and children was today launched here.

The app 'Shakti SOS' was launched by Senior Superintendent of Police K S Emmanuel.

When the mobile user presses the panic button in the application, immediately an alarm will be signalled at the nearby police station or control room and police will reached the spot, Emmanuel said to reporters in Harsaon village.

He said this application will reduce the cases of theft, loot and other crimes.
