Missing Fashion Designer Shipra Malik Traced in Gurgaon

The 29 year old fashion designer Shipra Malik who went missing four days ago was found in Sultanpur village in Gurgaon. Shipra claimed that she was abducted by four men from Delhi and dropped her off at a bus stand around 1:50 am on Friday.

According to the police, she walked toward the Sultanpur village and narrated her story to the villagers. Soon after, Rakesh Kumar, the headman of the village informed the police who immediately dispatched a team to the spot.

A police official said, “the woman was in bad state and wanted to speak to her husband; she borrowed a mobile phone from a villager and called her husband. Within an hour, her husband reached the village.”

Shipra told that she was abducted and was kept in three different locations for three days and later fearing arrest they dropped her off near the village.

Shipra Malik from Noida on Wednesday went missing while she was on her way to Delhi. This is the second such incident when a young woman has gone missing in the national capital region; recently a woman executive of Snapdeal was kidnapped from Ghaziabad Metro station last month.

Shipra Malik owns a boutique shop, a mother of 1 month old child and is married to a contractor.
