The woman alleged that the local goon, a history-sheeter, and his two sons had kidnapped her last month when she was on her way to her job and kept her in confinement for 17 days during which she was raped, a police official said.

The woman and her husband alleged that they were forced to take the extreme step as police was not registering her complaint of rape in MIG police station.

The woman said that she somehow managed to escape from her captors and since then all her efforts to register the complaint at the police station went in vain.
