NEW DELHI: The Gurgaon Police on Thursday arrested a retired Wing Commander on charges of misappropriating of funds of a private society formed to campaign for the One Rank One Pension scheme. An FIR under sections of cheating and forgery was registered on the court’s direction. Police arrested C K Sharma after his anticipatory bail was rejected in the case.

Those under the scanner include major general (retd) Satbir Singh and group captain (retd) V K Gandhi. Lieutenant general (retd) Raj Kadiyan had filed the complaint in October, 2013, at a local police station.

He approached the court as the Police failed to do anything even after 17 months. Disappointed over this, Kaidan approached the Court in March, 2015. On February 3 the court summoned the accused person and on February 8 issued a warrant.
