Three PILs Seek Action Against TMC Leaders Over Sting Video

KOLKATA: Three separate PILs, one by a BJP leader and another by two Congress leaders, were filed today in the Calcutta High Court seeking action against Trinamool Congress leaders who were shown in a sting video purportedly accepting money to lobby for a fictitious company.

The petition, filed by BJP leader Brajesh Jha before the court, seeks CBI investigation and an ED enquiry under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act(PMLA) in the case.

Congress leaders Amitava Chakraborty and Abbasuddin have also filed a similar petition in the court during the day.

Another PIL was filed by advocate Akshay Sarengi on the same issue.
