It is Lieutenant General Najeeb Jung versus Delhi: Kejriwal

Kejriwal accuses centre for cancelling all decisions taken by Delhi government since it came to power.

NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal Sunday took his confrontation with Lieutenant General Najeeb Jung to a new level and said that the latter is getting into tussle with the entire city by cancelling public welfare decisions taken by Delhi government.

Kejriwal in series of twitter posts said that Jung is getting into confrontation with all sections of public by his decisions against Delhi government.

"It has become LG vs farmers, LG vs advocates, LG vs women, LG vs Delhiites. There is no LG vs CM. CM is too small a person and has no personal interests," he said.

This comes a day after the Delhi chief minister appealed to Jung not to cancel decision taken by Delhi government in favour of people of the national capital.

After the Delhi Court order in August this year that established primacy of LG, Jung has been quashing decisions taken by the Delhi government. These include increasing circle rates of agricultural land, cancelling appointment of DERC chairman and dissolving Delhi Waqf Board among others.

According to Kejriwal, High Court order cannot be taken retrospective by Jung. He has also accused the Centre of cancelling all decisions taken by the Delhi government since it came to power in February 2015.
