MUZAFFARNAGAR: Police has registered a case against Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA from Kairana constituency, Nahid Hasan, for allegedly trying to breach peace at Jhunjhala town in Shamli district yesterday.
According to SSI Sandeep Balyan, the case was registered when the SP MLA protested for not allowing a public meeting over an "objectionable message" posted on social media hurting religious sentiments.
