Security forces have foiled an infiltration bid in Jammu and Kashmir's Keran sector. One of the infiltrators has been killed.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, firing is still underway between Indian and Pakistan troops on the Line of Control (LoC) in the Keri and Digwar areas of Poonch. The incident has so far left three civilians injured.
