BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today met former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at his Krishna Menon Marg residence in New Delhi today. The chief minister inquired about the health condition of of the former Prime Minister and wished him a long and healthy life.
Describing his visit as a courtesy call, Naveen said there is no political significance to it. Naveen was a member of the central cabinet during the tenure of Vajpayee as Prime Minister. He recalled his earlier days of long association with the former Prime Minister.
The chief minister conveyed to his family members that the people of Odisha always remember Vajpayee very fondly and conveyed best wishes of people of Odisha for his long and healthy life.
