Ivanka Trump to attend GES in Hyderabad

Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao too thanked the PM for giving Hyderabad an opportunity to host the summit.

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad will be hosting American President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump, who will be attending the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) to be held here from November 28-30 this year. The GES centres promote economic growth, inclusion and opportunities among entrepreneurs from across the world, with a special focus on emerging nations from Africa and Asia. India and US will co-host the GES 2017. The possible presence of Ivanka Trump was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Twitter Thursday night.  

“The summit is a unique opportunity for bringing together entrepreneurs and start-ups with global leaders,’’ Narendra Modi said in one of his tweet.IT minister KT Rama Rao, responding to the tweets, thanked Modi for giving Hyderabad an opportunity to host the event. “We will make sure the event showcases India’s potential to the world,’’ Rama Rao said.
