Shiv Sena retains Nashik's Igatpuri municipal council; BJP gets four seats

The Shiv Sena won 13 out of 18 seats in the election while from the remaining five, the BJP won four seats while an Independent walked away with one seat.

NASHIK: The Shiv Sena today retained the Igatpuri Municipal Council (IMC) in Nashik district by winning 13 out of 18 seats in the election, results for which were declared today.

Out of remaining five, the BJP won four seats while an Independent walked away with one seat.

The election for the 18-member IMC was held yesterday.

Sena's Sanjay Indulkar has been declared president of the municipal council.
