Woman among four suspected Naxals held in Chhattisgarh

RAIPUR: Four suspected Naxals, including a woman, were arrested in Chhattisgarh's insurgency-hit Bijapur district today, police said.

A joint team of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and district police force arrested them during a search operation in a forest near Karkadora-Beltipadar villages under Bhairamgarh police station limits.

The arrested rebels were identified as Pidoram Poyam (35), Chinna Bhaskar (44), Sukhram Bhaskar (25) and a woman named Sukhmati Hemla (25).

They were allegedly involved in a recent incident of torching of a road construction vehicle in the area.
