Varun Sindhu Kul Kaumudi takes over as ADG CRPF J-K Zone 

Kaumudi is credited with cracking the famous fodder scam case while serving with the CBI on deputation.

JAMMU: Varun Sindhu Kul Kaumudi today took over as the additional director general (ADG) of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Jammu and Kashmir Zone, here.

The 1986-batch officer replaced S N Shrivastava for the post.

Kaumudi is credited with cracking the famous fodder scam case while serving with the CBI on deputation.

He took over from Shrivastava at the group centre of the CRPF at Bantalab, a spokesman of the force said.

The officer has served in the post of superintendent of police in the CBI and also as ADG in the Railways and NIA, he said.

The spokesman said the officer was also posted as ADG in the Bureau of Police Research Development.

Kaumudi said he is looking forward for a productive stint here.
