SRINAGAR: The Board of School Education (BOSE), Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) and Kashmir University (KU) have again postponed all examinations which were scheduled to be held on Tuesday.

The BOSE, KU and IUST had postponed examination yesterday also in view of the strike called by separatists.

A spokesman for the BOSE said that 12th class examination, which was to be conducted today, has been postponed in Kashmir valley.

However, examinations in Leh, Kargil and winter zones of Jammu division will be held as per schedule, he said.

The KU postponed examinations which were scheduled to be held today.

The next date of examinations will be announced later.

Similarly, IUST has also postponed all examinations which were scheduled to be held today.

New dates for the examination will be announced later.

Though no reason was given for postponing of examination, the step has been taken as a precautionary measure following strike called by separatists against the death of civilians in a blast in Kulgam, where three Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) militants were killed in an encounter by security forces at Laroo on Sunday.
