Five illegal arms smugglers arrested in Rajasthan

JAIPUR:  Five illegal arms smugglers were arrested with nine pistols and 20 live cartridges in the Bikaner division, police said today.

Four, including Angrez Singh, Lakhveer Singh, Vinod Jat and Nirmaljeet Singh, were arrested in the Goluwala police station area with 12 bore pistol, two country-made pistols, one 315 bore pistol and four live cartridges and a 32 bore pistol loaded with four cartridges, ADG (ATS-SOG) Umesh Mishra said.

Another accused Raju Mandloi was arrested in the Mahajan police station area with four pistols and eight live cartridges, he said.

 He said that the accused are being interrogated thoroughly.
