PATNA: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is tired and no longer able to manage Bihar, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said on Sunday.

“The people are not angry but have started hating Nitish Kumar. It goes without saying from the surging crowd of people at my rally,” he told the media.

He claimed that all barriers of caste, creed  and class have got demolished and the people of Bihar have joined together on the issue of unemployment.

“Nitish Kumar ji, who is tired, is running away from realities and rationalities. After ruining the future of the crores of youth in Bihar, he is now turning the pages of past,” he has tweeted earlier in the day.

A local poll analyst in Patna concurred that the crowds started emerging at the rally of Tejashwi after he made the unemployment the main poll issue.

“Unemployment drew attention of mass population after the return of more than 25 lakhs of workers from across the country amid the COVID 19 induced lockdown,” Dr Archana Kumari,a political researcher of Patna, said, “Very few of the migrants went back. The rest are in Bihar amid the financial crisis.”

Not surprising that Tejashwi is also accusing the Nitish Kumar led NDA government of keeping the youths away  from employment. Reacting to the statement of Tejashawi Yadav on hate for Nitish Kumar, JD-U senior leader Sanjay Kumar Jha said that it was “meaningless to expect respect from a prince (Tejashawi) born with a silver spoon who has spent his childhood amid the arrogance of power.”

In the recent years, the RJD has been attacking Nitish branding him as “paltu ram” , “kursi Kumar” after he walked out from the Grand Alliance  and formed government with the BJP.

Incidentally, Nitish has on many occasions lost his cool in the campaign trail.

The latest incident was when he got angry when crowds chanted Lalu’s name at a rally.

Recently, the JD-U chief had attacked Tejashwi at a rally in Begusarai saying "ask your father if he made any schools or colleges when they had the chance."
