Q: Do you agree that Modi lost his his way to some extent after first his 2 years by not effecting a cabinet reshuffle, not controlling bureaucrats who mismanaged many schemes including the his "Aadhaar for everything" rule which inconvenienced many people?

A: He has done cabinet expansion and reshuffle more than twice. He could have dropped some of the non-performing Ministers and purged inefficient civil servants. Unfortunately, he hasn’t done much to deliver Maximum governance with Minimum government. Some of the senior civil servants are in fact, sabotaging his dream of New India by delaying tactics. Most of the Ministries failed to spend the budget allocated to them.

Q: Do you think China's new king and dictator Xi will survive? Why does it want to be a Big Brother? With its lorry load of disbursing loans such as Shyluck with hefty interest, it wants to swallow small nations like Ceylon, Maldives etc., and to a greater extent even Nepal and Pakistan. What are your views?

A: If you have the money and the muscle power, you would like to rule the World and acquire everything.  China has both. It can ad to it wealth only by capturing market all over the World by investing in projects and lending poor countries money. Since its leadership is not accountable to democratic processes, XI will don what it takes to achieve his mission.

Q: Do the results of 'Swacch Sarvekshan' conducted by the central government reflect the true picture of the city? What are your opinions regarding this?

A: It was a good idea which has been lost in the bureaucracy and exhibitionism. Most of the cities are dirtier than before. Money has been spent on events and not on cleaning the cities. Prime Minister has been let down by his own soldiers. He has to take charge and deal with it with a an iron hand.

Q: When Communism is dead in Russia, China, why are our Leftists still gloating over it in India as they have lost power in Tripura?

A: India need some symbolic presence of the left so that the voters know about their real colours. They will be a good exhibit in India’s political museum.

Q: Now Modi controls 28 states in India compared to Indira Gandhi's 25. Is it not a fair achievement of the Prime Minister?

A: BJP controls 21 states and not 28 which is more than what Congress did during Indira Gandhi’s time. But it is because Congress has been in power for a longer duration. Real test will come when the BJP is able to repeat its victories and defeat Congress in Karnataka and regional parties in West Bengal, Odisha and Tamil Nadu.
