New Delhi, Nov 14 (PTI) Jain Irrigation today said it hasreceived an order worth Rs 183 crore to implement a watersupply project in Jalgoan, Maharashtra.
"Jain Irrigation has been awarded a contract of Jalgoancity water supply scheme under the Amrut Abhiyan Yojana," thecompany said in the filing.
This will benefit more than 75,000 households. The projectinvolves design and construction of 661 km of pipeline andrequired elevated storage reservoirs and pump houses, it said.
The project is to be completed in 24 months.
In the last one month, this is the third major project inwater supply sector been awarded to the pipe division of thecompany.
Jain Irrigation makes micro-irrigation systems, PVC andHDPE pipes, plastic sheets and agro-processed products, amongothers. PTI LUXMR.
