In the chargesheet, the anti-terror agency charged Pakistan-based Saeed in his individual capacity and also as chief of the banned LeT and its active proxy organisation, The Resistance Front (TRF).
Burhan had been designated a terrorist by the Ministry of Home Affairs in 2022 under the UAPA, following findings by the NIA in its probe into the Pulwama attack.
The attack is considered one of the deadliest attacks on civilians in recent years. The attackers targeted victims after identifying them by their religion.
In a post on X, the President paid tributes to the victims of the attack and said such acts of terror cannot deter the country's "unwavering commitment to peace and unity."
