Younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, Anmol is also wanted in connection with several criminal cases, including the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala in May 2022.
Sources said Anmol is expected to land in Delhi on Wednesday after the US Department of Homeland Security informed the family of Baba Siddique that he has been removed from the country.
The widow, in her plea filed last week, said the police had failed to bring the real culprits to book and alleged a builder/developer and political nexus behind her husband's killing.
Zeeshan Akhtar, a key operative of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang is accused of coordinating the shooters involved in Siddique’s assassination and orchestrating the crime.
