As no evidence of his involvement in the case emerged during the investigation, the CBI did not file any chargesheet against Sanjeev Mukhiya, who accordingly availed bail in the NEET-UG 2024 case.
The examination centre authorities were reportedly aware of only two locks on the boxes carrying the question papers, while Mukhiya had access to a third hidden lock.
Sanjeev Mukhiya was serving as a technical assistant at Horticulture College, Noorsarai (Nalanda) when his name figured in the NEET UG 2024 question paper leak case.
A three-judge bench, led by Chief Justice of India (CJI) D.Y. Chandrachud, along with Justices J.B. Pardiwala and Manoj Misra, dismissed the review petition on October 22.
