MEA said Indian missions are proactively assisting students, seafarers, stranded Indian nationals and short-term visitors for visa facilitation, consular services and logistical assistance.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation said it is closely monitoring airfares to ensure there is no undue surge in ticket prices during this period and is in constant touch with airlines.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation said that 1,609 flights have been cancelled by Indian as well as foreign carriers due to the ongoing crisis in the region.
