Volleyball tournament: Income Tax down Kerala Police

Fine allround performances by Saravanan and Vikram helped Income Tax, Chennai defeat Kerala Police 15-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-15 in the men’s section of the SAIL- Panimalar P. John Memorial All India Volleyball Tournament at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium here on Wednesday. Radhesh played well for the losers.

In another men’s match Tamilnadu Police got the better of Panimalar in straight three sets 25-14, 25-16, 25-19. Rajasekar and Dhanasekaran spiked well for winners.

In the women’s section, Central Railway despite losing the first set came back strongly to down Dr Sivanthi Club 24-26, 25-13, 25-15, 26-24 and Kerala State Electricity Board defeated Southern Railway 25-23, 25-18, 13-25, 27-29, 15-08.
