Vijay Kumar slips in rankings

London Olympic silver medallist Vijay Kumar slipped down one place to become world No 3 in the men’s 25m Rapid Fire Pistol event as per the latest ISSF world rankings on Wednesday. Olympic bronze medalist Gagan Narnag, too, came down two places to become No 6 in the men’s 10m air rifle. Joydeep Karmakar, who had finished fourth in London, also moved down two places to be at No 6 in the men’s 50m rifle prone while double trap shooter Ronjan Sodhi retained his No 7 position.
