CHENNAI: Friends Chess Club and Tiruvallur District Chess Association will conduct the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam memorial district-level open rapid selection and children’s tournament on November 14 and 15 at Shri Venkatehswara Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Thirumullaivoyal. Players from Tiruvallur district are eligible. The top two will represent the district in the state open rapid tournament at Salem on November 28 and 29.
