Russian Athletics Coach Fedoriva Suspended for Four Years

The suspension comes into effect as of September 22, 2015, the Russian Anti-Doping Agency.

MOSCOW: The All-Russia Athletics Federation (ARAF) has suspended its track and field coach Lyudmila Fedoriva for four years over violations of doping regulations.

The suspension comes into effect as of September 22, 2015, the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) announced in its statement on Monday, reports Tass.

Fedoriva's daughter and trainee, Alexandra Fedoriva is the 2008 Olympic champion in 4x100 running relay event.

ARAF also announced a two and a half years' suspension for long-distance runner Alyona Kudashkina (starting from September 23, 2015) and a four-year suspension for runner Maria Nikolayeva.

Both Russian runners were suspended over violations of regulations concerning abuse of performance enhancing drugs.
