BARCELONA: Spanish midfielder Denis Suarez, who has officially returned to Barcelona football club after two seasons at Sevilla and Villarreal, said on Wednesday that his dream has come true through moving back to the Catalan club, which he described as "the best team in the world."

"I'm very pleased to be back at the club," Suarez said upon his presentation at Camp Nou after signing a four-season contract.

"It's a dream come true because when I left my target was always to come back here and that's what I've fought for," the midfielder, 22, added according to the club's official website.

He expressed his happiness at wearing shirt no. 6, which was worn by Xavi Hernandez and Brazilian Dani Alves, who will play for Juventus next season, reports Efe.

Suarez is the first official deal of Barcelona in the 2016-17 season, while the Catalan club confirmed the signing of French Samuel Umtiti from Olympique Lyonnais, but the date of the official deal is still unknown.
