St Joseph’s win
St Joseph’s College of Engineering won the men’s section of the Anna University Sports Board Zone III ball badminton tourney. They beat St Joseph’s Institute of Technology 29-17, 29-15, and qualified for the inter-zone event.
Chess tourney
The 5th Chellammal Memorial Cup children’s chess tournament will be held at Alwin Memorial Public School on September 24 and 25. The event is for Kanchi district players.
