England bowler Finn ruled out of tour match

England fast bowler Steve Finn was ruled out of the remainder of the tour match against India A because of a thigh injury.

England fast bowler Steven Finn was Wednesday ruled out of the remainder of the tour match against India A because of a thigh injury.

Finn was forced to leave the field with an injury inside the first hour of the first day's play at the Brabourne Stadium here Tuesday.

Finn suffered discomfort to his right thigh and underwent a scan following which he was ruled out of the match.

"Steven Finn has been ruled out of the remainder of the three-day game with a right thigh strain," Rhian Evans, team spokeswoman, said.

"We will assess him over the next couple of days and determine his rehabilitation programme," she said.
