Got out at the wrong time: Murali Vijay

India opener Murali Vijay said the fourth Test is evenly poised at the end of the second day. “It can  go either way. We are just looking for a good day tomorrow. However many more runs we put up, it is going to be crucial,’’ he said.

Vijay said the wicket is getting slower and lower. “The cracks are opening up. It is difficult to know the speed of the delivery,’’ he said. On the possible target, he said whatever may be the target, they are ready for the chase.  “There are no two ways about it. We are looking for a good game,’’ said Vijay.

The opener added that it was a very difficult to score runs on this wicket. “You  can stay in this wicket but it is very difficult to score runs. It is very difficult to find the gaps because the wicket is getting slow, it is tough to judge the speed of the delivery. I could have stayed a little more longer but got out at the wrong time.’’ Vijay also said his opening partner Cheteshwar Pujara, who got hit on a finger of his right hand is recovering, “It was swollen,” he said.
