Indian team arrives for Eden Test

The Indian cricket team arrived here Sunday for the first of the two-match Test series against the West Indies at the Eden Gardens beginning Nov 6.

Batting great Sachin Tendulkar, who will be playing his 199th Test, is expected to arrive later in the day.

The team headed straight for the hotel after landing at the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport.

The second Test is scheduled for Nov 14 in Mumbai.
