ICC Meeting to Discuss WI Pullout from India

DUBAI:  Furore created by the West Indies mid-series pull out from the tour of India and suspected illegal bowling actions will be some of the key issues the ICC Board will discuss when it gather here on November 9 and 10 for the last round of meetings of the year.     

In the lead up to these meetings, various other committees, including ICC Chief Executives' Committee (CEC), will also meet.      

The International Cricket Council Board under the chairmanship of N Srinivasan would be discussing the outcomes from the ICC CEC on matters relating to the FTP, playing conditions for the World Cup 2015 and the suspected illegal bowling actions.      

It will also look at the recommendations from the Executive Committee, including in respect of a revised ICC Anti-Corruption Code and an update on the recent work of the Integrity Working Party.      

Apart from these, the Board will also examine thoroughly the reasons for the West Indies cricket team cancelling tour of India mid-way.      

The ICC Board consists of the nominated representatives of each of the 10 full members plus three elected associate member representatives.
