CHENNAI: All-round effort from bowlers helped Lyca Kovai Kings defeat defending champions Chepauk Super Gillies by 53 runs in the third edition of Tamil Nadu Premier League in Tirunelveli on Thursday. Batting first, Kovai made 158/6 in 20 overs with Shahrukh Khan top-scoring with 59. Though the target was not steep, Chepauk were undone by regular fall of wickets at the top.
