CHENNAI: AG Pradeep’s patient 133, and a valuable 94 from Abhishek M Hegde enabled IOB to force a draw against AG’s Office on the third day of their TNCA Senior Division Plate Group match at Gurunanak College grounds here.

Resuming on the overnight score of 135 for four in 48 overs, IOB were all out for 354 in 114.1 overs. Pradeep and Abhishek added 165 runs for the fifth wicket in 36 overs. AG’s got five points for bagging 41-run lead.

Loyola bag title
Loyola College men defeated Jeppiaar Institute of Technology 82-78 in a super league game to bag the Jeppiaar Trophy at the 1st South India inter-collegiate invitation basketball tournament.
Loyola won all three matches in the super league to bag the title, and were rewarded with `15,000 cash prize. MCC came second, while Hindustan University finished third. Ragul Vasan of Hindustan University and Monika of Jeppiaar Institute of Technology won the most valuable player awards in the boys and girls sections, respectively.
