Injured Marseille striker Dimitri Payet out for two weeks

French international Payet returned to Marseille in January following an 18-month stint in the Premier League.

MARSEILLE: Dimitri Payet will miss the next two weeks after picking up a hamstring injury on Sunday in Marseille's opening match of the new season, his club said on Monday.

The former West Ham United forward went off at half-time in the 3-0 win over Dijon at the Stade Velodrome and will miss Saturday's trip to Nantes and probably the Europa League first leg play-off against Slovenians Domzale on August 17.

French international Payet returned to Marseille in January following an 18-month stint in the Premier League.
