KURNOOL/WARANGAL: Sri Suyateendra Theerthulu of Sri Raghavendra Swamy Matham in Mantralayam has said he implored the Swamy for good rains, welfare of the farming community and peace and harmony in the country.

He called upon othe people to be united setting aside the caste and religious differences and hoped that Raghavendra Swamy will certainly do good to the people.

He was delivering the `divya sandesam’ marking the conclusion of the 338th Raghavendra Swamy Aradhanotsavalu in Mantralayam today. The Maharathotsavam held this morning drew large number of pilgrims to the temple town.

Devotees from neighbouring Karnataka, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu apart from the State thronged the temple.

Special poojas and rituals were held from 4:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.

IN WARANGAL, the Aradhanotsavalu organised in a grand manner at Raghavendra Swamy Mutt in Hanamkonda concluded today.

Devotees thronged the Mutt in a large number during the three-day event when special poojas and rituals were held. Pilgrims poured in from Warangal, Kazipet, Hanamkonda, Hyderabad and Khammam.

On the first day, the Mutt officials organised mass satyanarayana Vratalu, Gopooja, Dhwajarohana and Dhyana pooja. Rituals like Panchamruta Abhishekam, Pallaki Seva and Maha Mangalaharathi were performed on all the three days under the supervision of Matham priest Srinivasachari.

Matham donors Gopinath-Rajyalakshmi and Uma Devi-Prabhakar participated in the Aradhanotsavalu, Matham manager Vijayendra Swamy said.
