HYDERABAD: The Agriculture and Cooperation Department has decided to constitute a tender evaluation committee for assisting in the implementation of the Horticulture Scheme 2009-10.
An order has been issued by the department today. The department took this decision on the proposal sent by the Vice- Chairperson and Managing Director of AP State Agro Industries Development Corporation.
The committee will open the tenders and finalises the prices for the various inputs purchased for the Horticulture Scheme. The Agro Industries Corporation purchases inputs like bio-fertilisers, bio-pesticides, micronutrients, organic manures, chemical pesticides and plant protection equipment.
According to the orders the committee will be headed by Vice-Chairperson of Agro Industries.
