HYDERABAD: Seven people were killed and about 100 huts were gutted Saturday in a massive fire which erupted after cooking gas cylinder exploded on the outskirts of Hyderabad, police said.

The blaze occurred at Gundlapochampally village in Ranga Reddy district, about 30 km from here. The dead include four children and a woman.

The fire started in a hut and soon spread to other huts, quickly engulfing the entire area.
